Wix Equestrian Centre Essex

Wix Equestrian Centre was opened in November 1987 and has now expanded to include two indoor schools, each around 200 feet long by 80 feet wide. There is a cafe, covered and heated spectator area, a farm and feed shop and outdoor arenas.

The Dunmow Flitch

July is the month when thousands of people turn up at the little village of Great Dunmow to witness the Dunmow Flitch trials. The origin of the Dunmow Flitch Trials remains obscure although it is believed to be around 900 years old.

Ingatestone and Blackmore Riding Club

IBRC is based in Essex (Area 8 of British Riding Clubs ) and we use Writtle Agricultural College for many of our club events. The club has been running for approximately 20 years and has a membership of around 100 people.

Longwood Equestrian Centre

Longwood has been established for over 30 years not only as a competition centre but also as a B.H.S. Approved Riding School with on-site facilities including viewing gallery, cafeteria and tack shop.
